NB there are currently no Yoga Workshops for Mothers scheduled. If you are interested planning one for your group, please do contact me.

After several wonderfully successful Yoga for Mothers Workshops 2012, I am pleased to offer these workshops on a more regular basis.  These one-of-a-kind workshops combine my two areas of expertise, facilitating groups of mothers and teaching Yoga, to bring mothers a uniquely nourishing experience.

The next workshops will be Saturday 5 October and Saturday 14 December 2013, both 10am – 1pm at Rudry Parish Hall, a beautifully clean and quiet haven overlooking verdant hills.  This relaxing three-hour session that will involve

Reflection and introspection

Facilitated discussion with other mothers in a supportive environment (involvement in the discussion is optional: listeners welcome!)

Yoga asanas (postures)

Meditation

Breathwork

Relaxation

This workshop is unique: a golden opportunity to take your mothering journey deeper and to find that quiet place within you.  Feedback from other workshops included:

It’s a gift to receive Yoga from others and especially in this context.  I drove home afterwards in the glorious sunshine feeling that the world was a better place.

and:

It was a great workshop.  I really enjoyed the group chat, being able to talk about problems faced as mothers without judgement.

To register, first contact me, providing your name, address and telephone number to register your interest.

Then, download and complete a Booking Form by clicking here.

Also, if you’ve never been one to one of my classes or workshops, download and complete a Health Questionnaire found here and return them to me with a cheque for £15 for each Workshop booked, made payable to Lisa Hassan Scott, or with prior agreement you can pay me by paypal.  Once I receive payment and forms, your place will be secured.

Sometimes the din of life and the demands of parenting can drown out a mother’s voice.  In our society, many mothers discount the soundings of their own instincts and may look outside of themselves for answers that can only be found within.  Mothering our children takes energy and patience, and all too often mothers find themselves feeling depleted and stressed.

So many of us long for a safe and supportive place where we can explore that which inspires us in our parenting.  And wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a place where we could talk honestly and openly about our challenges, and to feel loved and supported?

This is the place.  Welcome.

Yes, great! But I won’t be advertising it in the meeting as when I have my LLL Leader hat on I don’t ‘mix causes.’ See you then! x

Yes, Joanna. I always tailor my teaching to all abilities. This workshop is suitable for newcomers as well as those who have more experience. I hope you will come!
      Love,

    Hi Lisa

I saw details of your class running on 22nd September, and would be very interested after trying to fit yoga in with family and work unsuccessfully. I attended yoga classes while pregnant and while my son was a baby and found it a great way to unwind.

      Hi Katie,
It would be wonderful if you could come along! And this is exactly the reason I am putting on a workshop– it’s so hard to fit in regular yoga class attendance with a young family.

Go ahead and download the forms, and if you’d like to come send me an email to lisahassanscott at yahoo dot co dot uk

      Thanks,
      Lisa

      Hi Kate,

Glad to hear of your interest. The next one is 12 January 2013. Much depends on the age of your baby– it’s probably not the right sort of thing for a mobile baby. At the first one we had a 7 month old who sat up on a blanket and played with her toys and her mother would stop to feed her every now and again. This weekend we had an 8 month old coming to visit so her mother could feed her. The best thing is probably to get in touch with me directly by email to discuss it. lisa at lisahassanscott dot co dot uk

      Hope that helps,
      Lisa
